OCOH Oversight Committee's Budget Recommendations for FY24-25

The Our City, Our Home Oversight Committee revisited the priorities and values in the context of the Homelessness Gross Receipts (HGR) Tax Forecast. The Committee established a timeline for FY25 and FY26 budget recommendations. The Controller's Office presentation covering these topics can be found here. 

The Committee also approved a set of recommendations specifying uses for the unallocated Youth Housing funds. Notes from the Our City, Our Home Oversight Committee's Liaison Meetings with City departments. At these meetings, City departments provided updates on current-year implementation of OCOH programs. This was the first in a series of Liaison meetings in the Committee's process to make FY24-25 budget recommendations.

At its February meeting the OCOH Oversight Committee received mid-year reporting on FY23-24 spending and program implementation. Mid-year reporting supports the Committee's role in fund oversight for the current year, and provides information that can be useful in developing budget recommendations for FY24-25.
