- The minimum and maximum concentrations of disinfectant residuals in public pool water shall be:
- Public Pools:
- Free Chlorine Residual of 1.0-10.0 ppm without cyanuric acid
- Free Chlorine Residual of 2.0-10.0 ppm with cyanuric acid
- Bromine Residual of 2.0 ppm minimum
- Public Spas, Wading Pools, and Spray Grounds:
- Free Chlorine Residual of 3.0-10.0 ppm with or without cyanuric acid
- Bromine Residual of 4.0 ppm minimum
- Public Pools:
- Other minimum and maximum values in public pool water shall be:
- pH range of 7.2-7.8
- Cyanuric Acid Concentration range of 0.0-100.0 ppm
- Combined Chlorine Concentration range of 0.0-0.4 ppm
- Pool Water Temperature must be 104 degrees Fahrenheit or below with no minimum temperature
