Ano ang Executive Directive?
Ang Executive Directive (ED) ay isang direktang utos na inilabas mula sa Alkalde sa isa o higit pang mga Departamento ng Lungsod. This Executive Directive establishes the Street Safety Initiative as the next phase of San Francisco's roadway safety strategy, advancing a coordinated effort to design, operate, and manage streets and transportation systems that ensure the safety of all who travel within our city.
This Executive Directive directs City departments to continue the coordinated work of supporting San Francisco's immigrant communities, maintaining trust between residents and local government, and ensuring that every person in our city feels safe and respected. It furthermore directs City departments to coordinate public safety and communication procedures in the event of enhanced federal immigration enforcement actions or federal deployment of the National Guard in San Francisco ensuring public safety, transparency, and adherence to state and local law.
