About physical activity
Physical activity has many benefits for people of all ages. It can help kids pay better attention in school, support heart and mental health for adults, and improve balance and help people live longer as they get older. Studies show that even short bursts of movement are good for you—you don’t need to work out for hours to stay healthy. Many everyday activities count as exercise, like gardening, cleaning, and dancing, along with things like walking, jogging, yoga, biking, and swimming.
While physical activity is essential for overall health, it doesn't cancel out the effects of sugary drinks. Instead, think of it as a key part of a healthy lifestyle—one that supports your body and mind, every day.
