Join the celebration! Every year, hundreds of couples say “I do” at San Francisco City Hall on the Friday of SF Pride Friday, June 27, 2025.
Couples must have a San Francisco marriage license in advance. Marriage ceremony appointments will open on April 25th. Appointments are expected to fill up quickly.

New operating hours at the Permit Center!
Starting on Monday, April 28, the Permit Center at 49 South Van Ness Avenue will have new operating hours to better meet customer needs:
- Monday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Tuesday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Plan review will be open until 4:30 PM and payment will be accepted until 5:00 PM. Arrive in the mornings for shorter wait times. Queues may close early due to high volumes.
This change is part of PermitSF, reforming the City’s permitting process to make it customer-centric, fast, predictable, transparent and unified.

Interested in contracting with the City and County of San Francisco but not sure how? We invite you to join us on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 for City Contracting 101: A Small Business Workshop!
This half-day, in-person workshop will focus on demystifying how to contract with the City & County of San Francisco for local small businesses. We recognize that successfully securing opportunities with the City is a complex process that can be difficult to navigate. During this event, small businesses will learn the steps to become eligible for contracting work with the City, the types of goods and services that the City procures, and compliance requirements.

SF Nightlife and Entertainment Summit returns May 12th!
Now in its 15th year, the Summit is an opportunity for members of the nightlife and entertainment industry to come together to address current issues facing the industry and discuss ways the industry and the City can continue working together toward long-term recovery.

Resource fair with City departments from 12:00pm-1:00pm; presentations from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.
The Summit will be followed by a Networking Happy Hour at Smuggler’s Cove, 650 Gough St.,
4:15pm - 6:30pm (age 21+ only).
