Public Budget Meeting

The Office of the Assessor-Recorder invites San Francisco residents to share input on the 2025-2027 fiscal year budget at a public hearing on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at the Ingleside Police Station in the Community Room. Doors open at 5:30 PM and the program will start at 6:00 PM. Assessor-Recorder Joaquín Torres welcomes public comments.

    • Additionally, Assessor-Recorder Torres will discuss our Office, how we serve you and important topics related to Proposition 13, property assessment and other relevant resources for homeowners.
    • We are excited to be joined by newly-elected District 11 Supervisor Chyanne Chen and Executive Director of HERA, Maeve Brown who will share valuable estate planning and homeowner resources available to San Franciscans.

Recording and materials

The hearing will be audio recorded in digital form. The audio recording will be provided upon requests received by asr_budget@sfgov.org. The hearing materials will be posted following the meeting on the Office of the Assessor-Recorder website.

Language access

Per the Language Access Ordinance (Chapter 91 of the San Francisco Administrative Code), Chinese, Spanish and or Filipino (Tagalog) interpreters will be available upon requests. Assistance in additional languages may be honored whenever possible. To request assistance with these services please contact Joseph.Sweiss@sfgov.org at least 48 hours in advance of the hearing. Late requests will be honored if possible.

De acuerdo con la Ordenanza de Acceso a Idiomas “Language Access Ordinance” (Capítulo 91 del Código Administrativo de San Francisco “Chapter 91 of the San Francisco Administrative Code”) intérpretes de chino, español y/o filipino (tagalo) estarán disponibles de ser requeridos. La asistencia en idiomas adicionales se tomará en cuenta siempre que sea posible. Si necesista ayuda con estos servicios, por favor comuníquese a través de correo electronico a Joseph.Sweiss@sfgov.org por lo menos 48 horas antes de la reunión.
