The Department of Elections Releases Preliminary Results Report #12 and Update on the Number of Ballots Left to Count for the June 2, 2026, Consolidated Statewide Direct Primary Election

SAN FRANCISCO, Wednesday, June 17, 2026 – Today, the Department of Elections issued the 12th preliminary election results reports of votes cast in the June 2, 2026, Consolidated Statewide Direct Primary Election.

Today’s preliminary results report includes 274 vote-by-mail and provisional ballots counted since the previous results report issued on Friday, June 12.

The Department must still process and count any remaining vote-by-mail ballots that require manual review to determine their status or require voters to either verify or provide signatures by June 24.

The Department will next issue election results reports and certify the election on Thursday, June 25, at 4 p.m., and which will be posted at www.sfelections.gov/results.

When the Department issues results reports, Director John Arntz will be available to respond to questions from members of the public and the media outside of Room 48 in City Hall.
