What to do
1. Talk to someone from the Board of Appeals about your withdrawal

Download the form.
Fill it out and sign it.
You will need to know:
- Your appeal number
- Address of the property
- Hearing date
- Name of appellant(s)
You can give reasons why you are withdrawing your appeal, but it's optional.
3. Submit your form
You can send us your withdrawal by email, but you will also need to mail the signed original form.

The Board's office telephone number is 628-652-1150 and our email address is boardofappeals@sfgov.org. Our staff will reply to voicemails and emails received outside of our normal office hours as soon as practicable.
If you have an issue that requires in-person attention, please note that the Board's office staff is limited to an executive director, a legal assistant, and a clerk; to ensure that a staff member with the appropriate expertise is available to address your specific needs, please make an appointment in advance by calling or emailing the office.
Please note that on Mondays, the Permit Center physically opens to the public at 9:00 a.m. (Board staff are available by phone or email starting at 8:00 a.m.).
After you withdraw
The Board will send written confirmation to all parties that the matter has been withdrawn.
