Technical assistance and capacity building
Our trainings build the skills of youth program staff at all levels.

Program Quality Assessment (PQA)
PQA is how we measure youth program performance. It is required of City-funded youth programs. Our trainings prepare you to assess your own program.
Learning cohorts
Cohorts are application-based classes that take place over multiple sessions. Submit an application to join a cohort.
Positive youth development
Learn to:
- Deepen safety and foster an environment of radical inclusion
- Design relevant programs to build the life skills and confidence of our youth
- Prepare young people for authentic leadership and socially impactful experiences

Strengthening academic support
Learn specific strategies and activities for:
- Math
- Reading
- English Language Learners
- Youth with disabilities
1 in-person session and 3 virtual sessions.
Application closes February 21, 2025.
Healing centered restorative justice
Learn to create a safe space to explore personal stories and values so that we embody restorative practice from an authentic place.
1 in-person session and 3 virtual sessions.
Application closes February 21, 2025.
Healing centered engagement certification
Learn how to address trauma by using healing centered practices and principles in afterschool settings, schools and classrooms.
3 virtual sessions.
Application closes March 7, 2025.
