Refuse Lien Hearing
Respond to a final refuse lien notification and hearing notice. A refuse lien has been recorded against your property due to a late payment or unpaid Recology garbage bill.

What to do
Pay the lien
We are no longer accepting payments. The due date was 7/16/2026. You may pay the lien(s) with the 2026-2027 property tax bill as a special assessment.
Dispute the lien
We are no longer accepting hearing requests. The due date to submit a request was June 15, 2026.
