Civil Service Exams Process
Date: Tuesday, March 3
Time: 2 - 3 PM
Location: City Career Center, City Hall, Room 110
Audience: City employees and members of the public
Description: Gain insights on how to prepare for Civil Service Exams and Interviews. This workshop will give an overview of the different types of exams. It will also cover examination results and how to best prepare for interviews.

Citywide Educational Resource Fair
Date: Tuesday, March 10
Time: 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
Location: City Career Center at San Francisco City Hall, Room 110
Audience: City employees and members of the public
Description: Drop-in between 11:30-1:30pm to connect with colleges and City programs on career growth.
Speak to City College of San Francisco, San Francisco State University, University of San Francisco, UC Law San Francisco, San Francisco Public Library, and various City Tuition Assistance and Continuous Learning Programs.
When you register, select a time and feel free to drop in anytime between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
City Job Interview Preparation and Practice
Date: Monday, March 16
Time: 11 - 12 PM
Location: City Career Center at San Francisco City Hall, Room 110
Audience: City employees and members of the public
Description: Learn interview tips and practice for your next job interview with the City. Identify transferable skills and provide strong responses.

The Art of Influence: Managing Up & Across (Virtual)

Description: The session teaches how to build trust, adjust how you communicate, and use influence when working with peers and supervisors. The goal is to learn ways to help others succeed while sharing team goals and priorities.

Changing Careers: Identifying Transferable Skills

Description: The workshop is designed for mid-career professionals who are thinking about a new career with the City. It teaches practical strategies to explore new job options and shows participants how to identify skills they can transfer to a different role.

SFHSS Employee Well-Being and Mental Health Services (Virtual)

Career Insights: Your pathway to City Administrative Series (Virtual)

Description: Join us to learn how to qualify for, apply to, and grow in administrative analyst roles within the City. We will review key skills, common City analyst job classifications, and career paths. You will learn how to find positions that match your skills and how to plan your career growth in these roles. You will also hear from City analysts as they share their career journeys.

Career Center Services for people with disabilities are available all year
The City Career Center offers free services for people with disabilities all year long. It offers one-on-one career advice to people with disabilities. It also offers workshops on applying to city jobs and exploring career growth.
