Developing Effective Research for Better Insights

What to know

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this course, but it’s helpful if you come in having thought about a recent problem that has been brought to you that you need to use data or research to solve.

About this course

Delivering better data & research insights: choosing the right method for the right question. When someone approaches you with a problem, how do you ensure that the method you’ve chosen will give you answers? How do you distill problems into actionable research or data questions? And once you’ve got your question, how do you decide between quantitative or qualitative methods?

Expect an engaging session filled with interactive activities. So be prepared to have video and audio on for breakout rooms, where active participation is not just encouraged; it’s essential for better learning.

Duration: 3 hours
Location: Offered virtually over Microsoft Teams
