Prevention & Education Programs for Survivors
The Mayor's Office Housing and Community Development funds prevention & education programs for individuals and communities to learn about how to recognize, prevent, and respond to gender-based violence. Anyone looking to learn more about healthy relationships, domestic violence, and other forms of abuse at any age can benefit from these programs. Certain organizations have tailored programs for particular groups through school-based workshops, youth leadership development, and community outreach. Partner Community-Based Organizations promote safety, respect, and equity across all communities. These programs are culturally responsive, trauma-informed approaches that uplift those most impacted by violence.
