The Project Team requests proposals from qualified firms interested in providing special inspections consultant services for the design and construction of 1939 Market, a 15-story multi-family residential building, with a total of 187 affordable apartments for seniors (a mix of studio and one-bedroom units with one two-bedroom manager unit). The building’s ground floor includes a 1,483 square foot commercial space, which will be utilized as an extension of the robust services program. 1939 Market will be developed by Mercy Housing California, and will be owned by Mercy Housing California 109, L.P. The selected professional services consultants will contract directly with Mercy Housing California 109, L.P.

Project Description:  This bid advertisement is only for Electrical and Joint Trench scopes only. The scope of work for electrical and joint trench includes trenching from an exterior PG&E box in the public right of way to a new underground vault location on the public sidewalk, and trenching into the property at 2901 16th St for a new main electrical room. Electrical scope of work includes underground installations within the joint trench for a 2,000A service to a new electrical room, installing new subpanels and feeders for 63 residential units. The 63 new residential subpanels and 8 existing commercial subpanels will have new feeders going to the new electrical room on the ground floor.
