Individual Counseling

Emotional stress and mental health issues can affect your work performance, personal life and your physical health. Getting help early can make a difference. Confidential FREE counseling is available to all active CCSF, USD, CRT and CCD employees. Ask for help early - call 628) 652-4600 for a consultation.

Couple Counseling

Relationship issues can affect your overall sense of well-being and your ability to function well at work and at home. Couple Counseling can help you and your partner understand your relationship better, improve communication or make changes in your relationship.

Consultation and Referrals

If you have a problem and are not sure if counseling is right for you, call and speak to a Guidance Consultant.

Mediation Services

Workplace mediation is an informal, free and voluntary conflict resolution process. We provide a safe environment where a participant’s viewpoint can be heard and discussed without fear of retaliation. We help participants reach an agreement designed to improve workplace-based relationships.

24-Hour National Suicide & Crisis Hotline
If you or someone you know is struggling with thoughts of suicide, emotional distress, or a mental health or substance use crisis, you are not alone. Call or text 988, or chat online at 988lifeline.org. Trained crisis counselors are available 24/7, and Spanish-language support is available. Services are free and confidential.
National Alliance for Mental Illness
Looking for information, resources, or support for yourself or a loved one living with a mental health condition? Call the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) HelpLine at 1-800-950-NAMI (6264), text "NAMI" to 62640, or email helpline@nami.org. Trained staff are available Monday through Friday, 10 am to 10 pm ET. Services are free and confidential.
National Domestic Violence Hotline
If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence or abuse in a relationship, you are not alone. Call 1-800-799-SAFE (7233), text "START" to 88788, or chat online at thehotline.org. Advocates are available 24/7 to support survivors, concerned friends and family members, and people who want to change abusive behavior. Services are free and confidential, and interpreters are available in more than 200 languages.
National Sexual Assault Hotline

First Responders Resources

ComPsych

Active employees and their family members of the San Francisco Fire Department (SFFD), San Francisco Police Department (SFPD), the San Francisco Sheriff Office (SFSO) and the Department of Emergency Management Division of Emergency Communications (DEM-DEC) will have access to individual, couples, and family counseling through our external EAP vendor ComPysch.
