College students can apply to lead teams of high school interns in City departments.

What to know

Current undergraduate college student with a minimum of two (2) years of completed college-level coursework in youth/child development, education, psychology, sociology, or a related field (completed by Spring 2026). Applicants must not have graduated or be enrolled in a graduate/professional degree program
Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with you
Ability to work effectively in a professional setting
Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based environment
Availability to commit to 30 hours per week during the summer session
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in basic computer applications
Strong organizational and time-management skills
