COVID-19 school reopening

Tracking which San Francisco schools are reopening for in-person learning.

Department of Public Health

In response to the pandemic, schools in San Francisco offered distance learning during the school year 2020-2021. The Community Hubs Initiative also supported children and youth with the highest needs.

Enabling children to fully return to their classrooms in school year 2021-2022 remains one of the City’s top priorities.
