Building Permit Inspections

To schedule an inspection for a building permit just for a door, siding and window obtained through the PermitSF online system, call (628) 652-3625 between 8am and 12pm Monday – Friday.

Permits with a permit number starting with "BLDG" issued through the PermitSF online system and inspections can be scheduled using the phone number above. It is not possible to schedule your inspection using the contact information below.

Door, siding and window permits obtained through the standard permitting process, as part of a larger project or before February 13, 2026, can schedule an inspection using the contact information below.

General Public

  • Follow the prompts to schedule, reschedule, cancel, or get results of an inspection.

Payment

Plumbing/Mechanical Permit Inspections

Contractors

  • If you don't have an account, you can register as a licensed contractor with the City and County of San Francisco.

General Public

    • Enter your permit number, select your inspection type, and schedule your inspection time.
