Leah Mordehai

A Richmond District native born to Russian-Ukrainian immigrant parents, Leah Mordehai is a junior at San Francisco University High School with a passion for law, social justice, and civic engagement. As a lifelong resident of District One, she draws inspiration from her community to advocate for youth voices in city policy. Leah has extensive experience in civic leadership, including legislative internships with the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and the California State Treasurer, co-chairing the League of Women Voters Youth Council, and founding youth-led initiatives such as Slavic Voice 4 Ukraine.
