We issue death certificates for someone who passed away in the last 3 years. You can get them in person or by mail.

You can get a copy of a death certificate record for someone who died in San Francisco more than 3 years ago and after 1906.
Get documents for Funeral Homes
Funeral homes can purchase death certificates, burial permits and non-contagious disease letters. Purchases can be in person or by mail.
