Join Assessor-Recorder Joaquín Torres for an important community conversation about property assessments and the Office's key priorities.

This meeting will provide residents wtih an opportunity to learn more about the Office of the Assessor-Recorder’s role in relation to both the City budget and property taxation, as well as the State laws that guide the assessment process in California. We will also answer questions regarding reassessment timelines following a change in ownership, assessment appeals, declines in value, informal reviews, Proposition 19, and related topics.
