More about your appointment

What to expect at your appointment

  • You will start by registering for your visit.
  • You will meet with expert staff who will evaluate your needs for sexual health care.
  • We will do lab testing if recommended.
  • We will treat you for any STIs if recommended.

Patient safety

Your safety is our top priority. City Clinic is a weapons-free space.

What to expect at your next visit:

  • You may be greeted by a security guard when you arrive.
  • We may inspect your belongings.
  • We may use a handheld wand to screen for metal objects.
  • The sole purpose of any inspection is to prevent the entry of weapons. We are not searching for drugs or any other personal items.
  • The guard will not ask about your immigration status.

All are welcome, regardless of immigration status. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation.

Patient confidentiality

Our services are confidential but not anonymous. This means that you’ll be asked to provide your name and date of birth, and an address and phone number if you have them.

This allows us to get in touch if you need treatment for a positive test result. You’ll also be asked why you came into the clinic and whether or not you have symptoms related to an STI.
