Workers' Compensation urban myths

Around the City, many employees have heard information about the WC process or entitlement to benefits that may or may not be accurate. To help refute misinformation as well as address questions and updates regarding the City’s Workers Compensation Program or the Workers Compensation Process, we have created this quarterly communication series that will introduce a new question, concern, or ‘urban myth’ that either has arisen or has existed regarding the WC process and outline the fact behind the myth!
