On March 20, 2026, Mayor Laurie launched the San Francisco Women's Agenda in partnership with District 7 Supervisor Myrna Melgar and DOSW. The Women's Agenda Report details the research, goals, objectives, and partnerships that will guide the Department on the Status of Women for the next few years. As part of a cross-departmental strategy, the Agenda also outlines key City partnerships to advance gender equity in the policy areas of health, safety, civic leadership, and economic mobility and security.
