The San Francisco Arts Commission (SFAC) Galleries, in partnership with the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency’s (SFMTA) Photo Archive, is proud to present "Views from the SFMTA Photo Archive", a companion exhibition to "Moving San Francisco" an exhibition at City Hall.
The photos featured here include just a small sampling of images from the SFMTA Photo Archive, which is comprised of over 200,000 images dating back to 1903. These images illuminate the ways San Francisco has changed over time, while also featuring some familiar routes and landmarks.
