Téa Lonné Amir is serving her third term on the San Francisco Youth Commission as a citywide Commissioner.

Téa grew up in San Francisco and loves all it has to offer. In middle school, Téa was appointed to the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, where she worked on increasing diversity in the school community. Téa is currently 17 years old and attends San Francisco University High School, where she is a member of LUS, the Latine Union of Students, and Koach, the Jewish affinity group. In addition, Téa is on the school MUN team, enjoys soccer, softball, and flag football, and plays classical piano and is part of the school Jazz program.

Téa was appointed to the San Francisco Youth Commission in 2023 by Mayor London Breed. As a Youth Commissioner, she hopes to support and increase youth voice of all backgrounds in San Francisco. In her term, she hopes to work on continuing to advocate for reducing weapons access to youth.
