Stephanie L. King

Stephanie King is a Registered Nurse and epidemiology intern with the San Francisco Department of Public Health. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health and has a clinical background in maternal and child health, lactation support, neonatal intensive care (NICU), and community health.

Her professional interests include maternal and infant health, health equity, and quality improvement. Through both clinical practice and public health research, she is committed to advancing equitable, evidence-based care and improving health outcomes for mothers, infants, and families.

At SFDPH, Stephanie contributes to research focused on healthcare disparities and strategies to reduce preterm births. She is passionate about applying epidemiologic research to inform public health programs, improve maternal and infant health outcomes, and promote equitable care for diverse communities.
