Our Commitment to Healthy, Happy Kids
Snacks, Play, and Recreation for Kids (SPARK) policy helps kids eat healthier and play more at summer camps and after-school programs in San Francisco Rec and Park sites. We create and roll out fun activities in four areas: Healthy Snacks, Joyful Play, Water First, and Healthy Parties and Prizes. Our Focus Areas
Healthy Snacks
Kids try tasty fruits and veggies, make snack art, and learn about foods that fuel their bodies

Joyful Play
Kids keep moving with games, nature walks, and garden time

Water First
Water is the #1 drink! We make it fun with fruit, herbs, and spices
