South Van Ness Adult Behavioral Health Services

South Van Ness Adult Behavioral Health Services provides welcoming, affirming, and trauma-informed mental health services for adults living with HIV and for people who identify as transgender, gender-expansive, or non-binary.

Our clinic is staffed by a diverse and multidisciplinary team of providers. We are located on-site with the Transitional Age Youth (TAY) Clinic.

We serve San Franciscans with low incomes, who are uninsured, have or qualify for Medicare, Medi-Cal, or San Francisco Health Plan.

Our team speaks English and Spanish. Other languages are available via our translation phone service line.

Services Include:

• Assessments and evaluations
• Crisis services
• Individual and group therapy
• Case management (assessing needs, coordinating care, and connecting to other services)
• Medication support and treatment
• Referrals to primary care

Other services:

HIV Program

Services are available to San Franciscans with challenges and treatment goals related to living with HIV. People interested in applying for the program will be registered with the HIV Care Connect and will need to show proof of residency, income, and HIV status.

Gender Program

We provide sensitive and specialized mental health care for transgender and gender non-conforming adults. Services are available to San Franciscans with challenges and treatment goals related to gender.
