From longtime sports bars and local restaurants to watch parties, soccer shops, and pick-up fields, this guide highlights places where fans can gather, eat, drink, play, and experience the tournament through San Francisco’s small businesses and communities.

The FIFA World Cup is coming to one of the city's most vibrant cultural destinations: Yerba Buena neighborhood. Whether you're catching the match at one of our partner bars and restaurants, cheering at a neighborhood watch party, or exploring world-class museums and galleries between games, Yerba Buena offers the perfect blend of soccer passion and San Francisco culture. With easy access via BART and the Muni, world-class dining on every corner, and a neighborhood that celebrates everything global, Yerba Buena is the place to experience the World Cup in the Bay Area.

Guests can enjoy PIER 39’s vibrant year-round atmosphere – from family-friendly attractions, to award-winning restaurants and a beer garden, to locally-owned retailers – as they take in every exciting twist and turn of the broadcast event of the summer.

Sábado Gigante: La Copa del Mundo Celebration | July 18

Mission Lotería presents Sábado Gigante: La Copa del Mundo Celebration, a free community event happening at both the 16th Street Mission BART Plaza and 24th Street Mission BART Plaza.

This month’s Sábado Gigante celebrates the excitement of the FIFA World Cup, with some of the tournament’s games taking place right here in the Bay Area. While nearby venues will be screening the games, the plazas will come alive with music, local vendors, soccer-themed activities, family fun, giveaways, and community resources.

Come dance, kick some soccer balls, enjoy the plaza vibes, and celebrate fútbol with Mission Lotería.

At the 24th Street Mission BART Plaza, families can enjoy a free photo booth, free face painting for kids, local soccer teams sharing resources and leading games, and a live radio pop-up with Amor 100.3 FM.

At the 16th Street Mission BART Plaza, guests can shop from local vendors and beloved community brands including Lotta Worldwide, Mother Moon Arts, Betty’s Boutique, and more. We’ll also have a photo booth and music by DJ Mare E. Fresh from Velvet Cloud Radio, keeping the energy going all day long!

We’ll also be giving away FIFA World Cup sticker books and 100 stickers for the first 100 people to check in!

Salesforce Park Finals Watch Party | July 19

Your four-year wait is over. Cheer on your favorite team at TJPA's Salesforce Park starting on June 19 at our neighborhood soccer watch parties! With multiple 100'' screens you'll have no problem viewing the soccer game, so grab a beer from Barebottle, a pizza from Joyride, and get comfortable. Learn more.

Sunday Streets Mission Festival & Finals Watch Party | July 19
