Sarah Bindman

Sarah Bindman is a product manager with a background in urban planning, passionate about using technology to tackle civic challenges. With experience as both a product manager and software engineer, she has worked at the intersection of tech and public service—most recently in the transit space—developing tools that improve mobility and support more data-driven decision-making.

As a San Francisco native, she is excited to solve problems in her hometown and contribute to building a more accessible, vibrant city.

At the Mayor’s Office of Innovation, she is focused on transforming the permitting experience through thoughtful, user-centered technology solutions that make it easier for residents and businesses to navigate city processes.
