Many respiratory viruses, including COVID-19, influenza, and RSV spread all year. They are are usually more common from October through April.
We track these viruses using test positivity and hospital admissions. These measures help us understand how respiratory viruses are affecting people in San Francisco.
The charts show the current activity level for each virus and how the measures have changed over time. Activity levels are defined by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).
