Rent Board Commissioner Voting Positions

The Rent Board Commission is composed of tenant, landlord and neutral representatives appointed by the Mayor. They consider appeals and decide to either uphold the Administrative Law Judge's decision, remand it to the ALJ for a partial or new hearing, or they may hear the appeal themselves. The Commission's decision is final unless a Writ is filed with the Superior Court. The Commissioners also promulgate the Rent Board’s Rules and Regulations.
