Vincent Ta

Vincent Ta is a senior data analyst at the Office of Economic and Workforce Development (OEWD). At OEWD, he analyzes data and often collaborates with internal teams to design digital solutions for improved data capture, reporting, and evaluation. His favorite R packages are tidylog and clipr.

Prior to joining OEWD, Vincent worked as an information infrastructure analyst for UCLA’s Sustainable LA Grand Challenge. He was also an assistant language teacher for the JET Programme in Niihama, Japan. Vincent holds an M.A. in Economics from San Diego State University and a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Riverside.

Outside of work, Vincent loves visiting used bookstores, but has yet to find his favorite in SF.
