Ketan Hazari

Ketan works in the City Performance division of the Controller’s Office. He has worked on projects related to departmental performance measurement, bilingual language staffing, time tracking, facility asset management, streets & sidewalks maintenance, and non-profit financial health. In this project space, he has used tools like Power BI, ArcGIS Pro, and R to produce dashboards, pilot novel data monitoring mechanisms, streamline cost and project status reporting, and analyze complex data.

Ketan enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, playing with his dog, playing guitar, writing, and cooking in the kitchen or at the grill. His ideal day off includes a trip to the museum, Ocean Beach bonfire, or farmer’s market. He has novice or intermediate skill in 4 non-English languages (Gujarati, Hindi, Spanish, and French). The vacation he enjoyed the most was a two week solo trip to India in 2016. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Davis, with minors in Statistics and Philosophy. He holds a master’s degree in Sustainable Public Administration from Presidio Graduate School. GO NINERS!
