Elijah Enis

Born and raised in San Francisco’s inner Sunset neighborhood, Elijah attended a Chinese immersion elementary school before going to Gateway High School in the Western Addition and then UCLA where he completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Development Studies and Latin American Studies.

Elijah moved back home after graduating and worked for several years at the Boys and Girls Club in the Mission district, before beginning to work for the City and County of San Francisco.

He has subsequently worked at the Department of Elections and SFPUC before becoming an SF Fellow working for the Slow Streets team at the SFMTA. Elijah worked specifically on getting murals painted on the Slow Streets around the city. He joined the Office of Cannabis in 2024.

Elijah’s hobbies include playing soccer, going on bike rides around the city, and cheering on his beloved Giants, Warriors, and 49ers.
