Dear Customers,
The new PermitSF permitting portal launches on February 13. You may recall that in this first phase, several permit types will move fully online, including door, siding and window permits; special events; fire alarms; and Automatic Extinguishing Systems, including fire sprinklers.
To prepare for this launch, throughout this week we are conducting trainings for City permitting staff. As a result, the Permit Center will be operating with about half our usual staff during the times below:
- Tuesday, February 3: 8:00am–10:00am
- Wednesday, February 4: 8:00am–12:00pm
- Thursday, February 5: 8:00am–12:00pm
The Permit Center will remain open during normal business hours. However, morning wait and review times may be longer than usual. We want to make sure you are aware of these changes so you can plan accordingly.
