Dear Customers,
We are following up on the message we sent out on Tuesday about anyone now being able to pay for a building permit regardless of whether they are officially associated with the project.
We want to clarify that while anyone can apply for or pay for a building permit, the permit can only be issued to the property owner, a California-licensed contractor, or an authorized representative for either of them.
Here’s a package of information detailing who is eligible to obtain a building permit, including the forms required for contractors or authorized representatives to act on behalf of the property owner. We hope this is helpful.
