Permit Center Audio and Visual Policy
Learn when video, photo, and audio recording are allowed or limited in the Permit Center to protect privacy, safety and daily operations.
Video and audio recording may be prohibited where such conduct interferes with the Permit Center’s operations or poses a threat to the safety of staff, customers or the public.
Video and photography of computer screens or written or digital materials containing personally identifiable or copyrighted information, including permit application documentation on countertops, is prohibited except in limited circumstances with the consent of the relevant individuals.
If a person attempting to record video or audio is notified by Permit Center staff that the recording is not permitted for any of these reasons, the person must cease recording immediately. Failure to cease recording may be grounds for removal from the premises.
These rules apply to filming with any camera or recording device, including wearable cameras and audio recording devices, including eyeglasses, microphones and body cameras.
Thank you for understanding.
