The Department of Elections Releases Preliminary Results Report #11 and Update on the Number of Ballots Left to Count for the June 2, 2026, Consolidated Statewide Direct Primary Election

SAN FRANCISCO, Friday, June 12, 2026 – Today, the Department of Elections issued the 11th preliminary election results reports of votes cast in the June 2, 2026, Consolidated Statewide Direct Primary Election.

Today’s preliminary results report includes 1,329 vote-by-mail and provisional ballots counted since the previous results report issued on Thursday, June 11.

The Department must still process and count approximately 100 provisional ballots. Any remaining vote-by-mail ballots require manual review to determine their status.

The Department will next release preliminary results reports and an estimate of the number of remaining ballots on Wednesday, June 17, at 4 p.m., and which will be posted at www.sfelections.gov/results.

When the Department issues results reports, Director John Arntz will be available to respond to questions from members of the public and the media outside of Room 48 in City Hall.
