Mayor Lurie's Statement on Vogue World 2027 Coming to San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO – Mayor Daniel Lurie today released the following statement after Vogue announced their plan to bring Vogue World 2027 to San Francisco:

“Creativity and free expression have been the engine of San Francisco for generations, and that spirit will be on full display at Vogue World 2027.

“This creativity drives our arts and culture, and our arts and culture are driving our city’s comeback. Thanks to our ecosystem of talented designers, musicians, and small businesses—and the artists and workers behind them—visitors are coming to our city, and our economy is recovering. Vogue World will support San Francisco’s creative minds and strengthen the entire ecosystem.

“When we host major global events, we draw visitors, support local businesses, and generate revenue that funds the services San Franciscans rely on. We’ve done that through the Super Bowl and the World Cup, and Vogue World will be another opportunity to show the world that San Francisco is on the rise.”
