DPA Seeks Witnesses to the March 22 Incident at SFO Involving Federal Immigration Officials.
San Francisco — The Department of Police Accountability (DPA) has opened an independent investigation into the incident involving federal immigration agents at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at approximately 10:00 PM.
DPA received numerous complaints from community members after video of the incident circulated publicly. As part of our investigation, we are seeking witnesses to the incident or anyone with information, footage, or evidence beyond what has already appeared in news reports or social media.
How to Submit Information
Members of the public who:
- Were present at or near the scene
- Recorded video or audio
- Observed interactions between SFPD officers and federal immigration officials
- Or otherwise have firsthand knowledge
