CDPH Health Advisory: Hantavirus Disease Outbreak Among Passengers of the MV Hondius Ship

On May 11, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) issued a health advisory about the MV Hondius cruise ship Andes hantavirus outbreak, including about the four Californians that are being monitored by public health. No San Francisco residents have been identified as returning passengers or contacts to any confirmed Andes hantavirus cases. SFDPH will share any relevant new or updated information as it becomes available.
