More Time Between Deck/Stairway Inspections, Inspection Scheduling Unavailable 6/18 – 21, Reminder All-Electric Appliance Webinar 6/17

Dear Customers,

Great news! Starting today, apartment building decks, balconies, stairways, walkways and other similar exterior structures only need to be inspected once every six years to comply with City and state requirements.

Mayor Lurie signed legislation earlier this year that aligned local inspection requirements with recently enacted state legislation, making it easier and less expensive for property owners to comply.

Depending on when your property was last inspected, you may need to take additional steps to align your City and state inspections with the new six-year schedule.

Inspection Scheduling Unavailable June 18-21

As part of our PermitSF portal transition, the phone and online inspection scheduling system is being modified and will not be available from 5pm on Thursday, June 18 through 12am on Monday, June 22.

Please be sure to contact us before this Thursday if you have a project that needs an inspection next week.
