CALL TO ORDER, ANNOUNCEMENTS, AND ROLL CALL OF COMMISSIONERS
We acknowledge that we are on the unceded ancestral homeland of the Ramaytush Ohlone, who are the original inhabitants of the San Francisco Peninsula. As the Indigenous stewards of this land and in accordance with their traditions, the Ramaytush Ohlone have never ceded, lost, nor forgotten their responsibilities as the caretakers of this place, as well as for all peoples who reside in their traditional territory. As Guests, we recognize that we benefit from living and working on their traditional homeland. We wish to pay our respects by acknowledging the Ancestors, Elders and Relatives of the Ramaytush Community and by affirming their sovereign rights as First Peoples.
GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT
Members of the public may address the Commission on matters that are within the Commission’s jurisdiction and are not on today’s agenda. Speakers shall address their remarks to the Commission as a whole and not to individual Commissioners or Department personnel.

Review and anticipated adoption of minutes from the Commission’s September 10, 2026 Meeting.

COMMISSION OFFICER ELECTION (Discussion and Possible Action Item)
The Commission will discuss and may take action to elect a Chair of the Human Rights Commission to serve for the remainder of the existing term.
If the election of the Chair results in a vacancy in the office of Vice Chair the Commission may also discuss and take action to elect a Vice Chair to serve for the remainder of the existing term.
