Overview
This is the standard monthly public meeting of the Sheriff’s Department Oversight Board, held in person. Members of the Oversight Board will be present at the meeting. Members of the public are welcome to attend and observe the proceedings and may provide public comment either in person or remotely, including individuals with disabilities who require reasonable accommodations.

Approval of Minutes (Action)
Consideration and possible approval of the February 6, 2026, and February 12, 2026, Board Meeting Minutes.
Presentation by the Sheriff's Office (Discussion)
Chief John Ramirez will present the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office 2025 Annual Report to the Board.
Presentation by the Department of Police Accountability (Discussion)
Marshall Khine, Chief of Staff at the Department of Police Accountability, will present DPA’s 2025 Q4 and Annual Report on Sheriff’s Office investigation statistics, including SDOB requested data points, project updates, developing a new interagency collaboration, and findings and recommendations for the SFSO.
Inspector General Recruitment Status (Discussion)
Member Soo will provide a progress report on the executive search for the Inspector General to lead the Office of Sheriff’s Inspector General, including a review of current hiring benchmarks and next steps in the selection process.
Community Meeting Planning (Discussion and Possible Action)
Member Ortiz will update the Board on an invitation to present at the Southeast Community Facility Commission meeting. The Board will discuss and may take action to designate representatives to attend, coordinate the presentation content, and finalize necessary logistics.
Future Agenda Items (Discussion and Possible Action)
Members will engage in a discussion regarding possible agenda topics for upcoming meetings.

Members of the public are invited to speak to the Board regarding matters that were not included in this afternoon's agenda, provided that these topics fall within the Board's subject matter jurisdiction. Speakers are requested to direct their comments to the Board collectively, rather than to individual Board Members, Department staff, or SFSO personnel.
