Overview
The Refuse Rate Board will conduct its final hearing on Recology's proposed rate application for rate years 2026 through 2028. All Proposition 218 protests and June 2022 Proposition F comments and objections will be counted. If no Proposition 218 threshold is met, the Refuse Rate Board will vote on the Refuse Rate Order for Rate Years 2026-2028 (effective October 1, 2025). The Refuse Rates Administrator, representatives from Recology, and representatives from San Francisco Environment Department and Public Works will be in attendance. Members of the public are invited to attend and provide comment on all items. Please note that this Amended Meeting Agenda includes non-substantive amendments to Item #4.Agenda

Discussion and possible action to adopt a resolution adopting refuse rates and related service provider requirements, protocols, and other related provisions for rate years 2026, 2027, and 2028; finding that the adopted refuse rates are just and reasonable; affirming the Planning Department’s determination that the proposed adoption of the rate order is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act; and finding that approval of this proposed action is the Approval Action as defined by San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 31.
