Surveillance Technology Policy Review: Cameras – Non-Security (Action Item)
Section 19B of the City & County of San Francisco’s Administrative Code requires all departments with surveillance technologies to develop a Surveillance Impact Report and Surveillance Technology Policy for their ongoing authorized use.
The following department will present its policy for the use of:
- Municipal Transportation Agency: Automated Red Light and No Turn Enforcement Camera
Privacy and Surveillance Advisory Board Meeting Rubric (Discussion Item)
COIT staff will present a draft version of a rubric created as a tool to help Privacy and Surveillance Advisory Board members while they evaluate Surveillance Technology Policy and Surveillance Impact Report documents at the public meeting.
Surveillance Technology Policy Checklist and Privacy Fact Sheet (Discussion Item)
COIT staff will present a draft version of a checklist and fact sheet created as a tool to help departments complete the Surveillance Technology Policy process.
