- Ramaytush Ohlone Land Acknowledgement
The San Francisco Arts Commission acknowledges that we are on the unceded ancestral homeland of the Ramaytush Ohlone who are the original inhabitants of the San Francisco Peninsula. As the indigenous stewards of this land and in accordance with their traditions, the Ramaytush Ohlone have never ceded, lost nor forgotten their responsibilities as the caretakers of this place, as well as for all peoples who reside in their traditional territory. As guests, we recognize that we benefit from living and working on their traditional homeland. We wish to pay our respects by acknowledging the ancestors, elders and relatives of the Ramaytush Community and by affirming their sovereign rights as First Peoples. 1. Motion to approve "West Portal Murals," a series of murals designed by Chris Granillo. The murals, measuring approximately 680 sq. ft. in total, will be installed at the following locations:
a) One (1) low retaining wall at Ulloa St. and Clairemont Blvd.
b) One (1) storage locker at West Portal Library, Ulloa St. and Lenox Way
c) Two (2) traffic signal cabinets at West Portal Ave. and Vicente St.
d) One (1) traffic signal cabinet (approximately 60 sq. ft.) at West Portal Ave. and 14th Ave.
e) One (1) traffic signal cabinet at Portola Dr. and Vicente St.
The artwork is funded by the District 7 Supervisor’s Participatory Budget and will not become part of the Civic Art Collection.
2. Motion to approve "Living Lesbian Legends," a mural design by Tanya Wischerath. The mural will be installed on 4122 18th St. between Castro St. and Collingwood St., in District 8. The mural measures approximately 11 ft. height by 13 ft. width. The artwork is funded by a MOHCD contract funds and private donations and will not become part of the Civic Art Collection.

Judah Streetscape Sculptures by Jesse Schlesinger
Discussion and Possible Action
Discussion and possible action to approve as installed the completed artwork titled "Pacific Transit," 2024, by Jesse Schlesinger at Judah St. and 43rd Ave. and Judah St. and Lower Great Highway. The artwork is composed of ten sculptures made of concrete, stone, and bronze. Seven sculptures are located at 43rd Ave., and three are located at Lower Great Highway. The sculptures range in size from 4 ft. to 7 ft. tall and 1 to 1-1/2 ft. wide.

Public comment
Public comments are accepted in person at all San Francisco Arts Commission public meetings. Remote public comment is available for those who require an ADA accommodation. Please reach out to art-info@sfgov.org or by calling 415-252-2247 with any questions or to make an accommodation request. We request at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting, pursuant to Administrative Code Section 97.7. Late requests will be honored if possible. For meetings scheduled on Mondays, please submit requests by 4:00 p.m. the previous Friday.
Public comment in regard to specific agenda items will be taken before or during consideration of the item. Each speaker may speak for up to three minutes per agenda item, unless the Chair has announced a different length of time at the beginning of the meeting. Speakers may not transfer their time to another person. Any person speaking during a public comment period may supply a written summary of their comments to be included in the minutes if it is 150 words or less.
Persons attending the meeting and those unable to attend may also submit written comments of 150 words or less regarding specific agenda items or general public comment regarding items under the purview of the Arts Commission. Written comments submitted to and received by Arts Commission staff by 5:00 p.m. before the date of the meeting, or received within 10 days after a public meeting, will be brought to the attention of the commission and made part of the official public record. Meeting procedures
1. Agenda items will normally be heard in order. Please note, that on occasion a special circumstance may necessitate that an agenda item be taken out of order. Discussion and possible action to approve as installed the completed artwork titled "Pacific Transit," 2024, by Jesse Schlesinger at Judah St. and 43rd Ave. and Judah St. and Lower Great Highway. The artwork is composed of ten sculptures made of concrete, stone, and bronze. Seven sculptures are located at 43rd Ave., and three are located at Lower Great Highway. The sculptures range in size from 4 ft. to 7 ft. tall and 1 to 1-1/2 ft. wide.

Public comment
Public comments are accepted in person at all San Francisco Arts Commission public meetings. Remote public comment is available for those who require an ADA accommodation. Please reach out to art-info@sfgov.org or by calling 415-252-2247 with any questions or to make an accommodation request. We request at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting, pursuant to Administrative Code Section 97.7. Late requests will be honored if possible. For meetings scheduled on Mondays, please submit requests by 4:00 p.m. the previous Friday.
Public comment in regard to specific agenda items will be taken before or during consideration of the item. Each speaker may speak for up to three minutes per agenda item, unless the Chair has announced a different length of time at the beginning of the meeting. Speakers may not transfer their time to another person. Any person speaking during a public comment period may supply a written summary of their comments to be included in the minutes if it is 150 words or less.
Persons attending the meeting and those unable to attend may also submit written comments of 150 words or less regarding specific agenda items or general public comment regarding items under the purview of the Arts Commission. Written comments submitted to and received by Arts Commission staff by 5:00 p.m. before the date of the meeting, or received within 10 days after a public meeting, will be brought to the attention of the commission and made part of the official public record. Meeting procedures
1. Agenda items will normally be heard in order. Please note, that on occasion a special circumstance may necessitate that an agenda item be taken out of order. To ensure that an agenda item is not missed, it is advised to arrive at the beginning of the meeting. All agenda changes will be announced by the Chair at the top of the meeting.
2. Public comment will be taken before or during the Committee’s consideration of each agenda item. Each speaker will be allowed to speak for the time allotted by the Chair at the top of the meeting for up to three (3) minutes.
3. During General Public Comment, members of the public may address the Commissioners on matters that are within the Arts Commission’s jurisdiction and are not on the agenda.
