Request to refinance existing city loans from former San Francisco Redevelopment Agency for Gabreila Apartments, an affordable, family housing development in the south of Market neighborhood.

Request for temporarily unrestricted $5 million in excess proceeds funds (unrestricted excess proceeds) for 2970 16th street formerly known as 1979 Mission street permanent supportive housing
The project sponsor of that certain 2970 16th street permanent supportive housing (PSH) project, Mission housing development corporation (MHDC) and Mission economic development agency (MEDA) (collectively, the project sponsor), is making a request to temporarily unrestrict $5 million in excess proceeds funds (unrestricted excess proceeds) that was approved by loan committee on May 21, 2021 under the Mayor's office of housing and community development's cash-out acquisition/rehabilitation, resyndication, and refinancing policy (cash-out policy), originally to be used as rehabilitation fund for fived (MHDC) properties. The temporary release of the funds will be used to provide a construction loan guaranty for 2970 16th street permanent supportive housing, as required by the construction lender, Western Alliance Bank.
